So if you lied about your age on cash app you could still use it for small transactions under 250. on the card?
Thanks for Visiting.
Yes, i guess so. You can still create an account (at least you would be lying of your age) and you can receive payments accounts to a $250 send limit in a 7-day period and receive up to $1,000 within any 30-day period.
But i wouldn’t personally recommend because it’s harder to cash out and Cash App randomly will ask to verify your account and keeps account on hold until verification.
There are many case from users complaining on Reddit and other public forums. It can be unreliable and risky for unverified accounts.
Hope this helps!
I wish you all would change the age limit to 17. I babysit a lot and they are always asking me if I have square cash. I know at one point, you could be 17. Why did you guys change the age to 18? It sucks with a capital S.

What if you don’t have a reliable parent and want to work and get money and your 17 what advice do you have as it pertains to the cash app?
Thanks for visiting our site.
First of all, Sorry about your situation and hope it gets better for you.
Back to the topic, Cash App currently only allows users of 18 and older to use their platform.
However, as I mentioned above, you can still create an account (at least you would be lying of your age) and you can receive payments accounts to a $250 send limit in a 7-day period and receive up to $1,000 within any 30-day period.
So, if you are looking to transact sums below those number, i guess you can try using it. But i wouldn’t recommend it as you can only cash out either by paying someone and exchange it with cash.
Other than that, you would need the Cash card to withdraw at an ATM or use online to purchase and to get the card, you will need to verify your account which you will not be able to do since you are not 18 yet.
If you are 17, it wouldn’t be that long already. I would recommend waiting till you are 18.
Hopefully this helps!
